First HyWest Hydrogen Truck for MPREIS in Tyrol

Commissioning of the 1st HyWest hydrogen truck at MPREIS in Völs near Innsbruck

The handover of the keys for the first hydrogen truck of the food retailer and industrial company MPREIS, was an emotional moment for everybody involved. Even more so as the official handover of the electrolysis plant at the company in Völs, which took place at the same time. This represents an important step in the development of a green regional hydrogen economy in Central Europe, which has been driven forward by the HyWest research center and its Codex partners from the Green Energy Center Europe in Innsbruck since 2016.
